This release of USPS-R changes the file extensions of W2 Submission files. See highlights below.
Important highlights from this release
Classic W2 Submission files all end in the file extension .SEQ
Redesign used the .SEQ extension, but multiple tax entities are requesting the file have the .txt extension
There are no changes being made to the submission files, just changing the extensionÂ
This will prevent the users from having to change the extension before upload
If you have already created the submission files, there is no need to run them again. You can change the file extension from .SEQ to .txt
