Five Year Forecast
The Five Year Forecast option allows you to extract forecast data for the fiscal year that is current. The grid contains the accounts included in the forecast along with its associated forecast line number and description as well as the three prior year's actual values and current year FYTD expendable or receivable values.
From the Periodic menu,
Click on 'Five Year Forecast'.
Select CSV or Excel under Format Type.
ClickÂ
to save it in CSV or Excel format on your computer.Â
Â
Format Types
The CSV option generates a comma separated formatted file of the forecast data containing the forecast line numbers, prior year actual values and current year estimates. This is similar to the CSV file automatically generated in Classic's USASFF program.Â
The Ending Cash Balance 7.020 and Estimated June 30th Encumbrance 8.010 amounts will be based on actual values for the current period the extract is run in the CSV and data tab version. This may not be consistent with the estimated values of the other lines when generated for periods throughout the fiscal year.
The Excel option will automatically upload the forecast data into the SSDT's Five Year Forecast spreadsheet.

More Information
Legacy Spreadsheets
As noted above, when using the Excel option, it will automatically upload your data from USAS-R into the SSDT's Five Year Forecast Standard spreadsheet format. However, we have also provided template spreadsheet formats below which you can import your own data into.
The template spreadsheets listed below are legacy spreadsheets that have not been updated and may refer to Classic terminology. Please ensure the correct fiscal year is entered in the parameters worksheet in order for the forecast years to display correctly in the forecast worksheet.
Â
SSDT Forecast Basic
The basic sheet contains what you need to import data from USAS and complete the forecast as required without the extra fluff. We recommend this sheet if you have a slower PC/Mac without much memory, or if you just don't want to deal with anything "extra".
Â
SSDT Forecast Standard
Includes several optional sheets including "Percentage" and "Summary" presentations of the Forecast similar to ones provided by AOS. Also included is a "Charts" sheet which contains several sample Excel charts showing graphical presentations of the forecast data. These additional views and charts work without any additional effort and update automatically when as the Forecast data is updated.
Â
SSDT Forecast Standard with Locks
Includes several optional sheets including "Percentage" and "Summary" presentations of the Forecast similar to ones provided by AOS. Also included is a "Charts" sheet which contains several sample Excel charts showing graphical presentations of the forecast data. These additional views and charts work without any additional effort and update automatically when as the Forecast data is updated. Included with this version is a locked "Forecast" page that prohibits the user from modifying any cell containing a formula.
