Summary

We have made some additional improvements to USAS-R with the release of version 8.5.0.  This release contains bug fixes and improvements as detailed in the release notes below.

  1. Subject codes changes have been implemented for fiscal year 2021.

  2. Default fund names were updated to be in all capital letters.  This was noticed on the Appropriation Resolution report.

  3. Ohio Checkbook.gov extract was improved to handle vendor names with special characters.

  4. The phone number was improved to deal with dots being used as delimiters instead of traditional dashes.

Please keep in mind these release notes only reflect the changes included in this release.  There are many other features of the software that were previously released that will not be reflected in these release notes.  General information about all of the features available in USAS-R can be found in our USAS-R Documentation.  There is a section in the documentation that also details the significant changes between USAS-R and classic USAS.
