USAS-R v8.0.2 Release Notes

Summary

This is the second hotfix release for version 8.0.0.  This hotfix includes the following bug fixes:

• A problem with the account histories that was caused by changes to the account summaries with the 8.0.0 release.  This bug could impact fiscal year initial amounts if the district had closed FY2020 since the 8.0.0 release was applied overnight, early Tuesday morning.  If you have a district that reports problems with initial balances and they closed June 2020 between 8/4/20 and today, please have them reopen June after this hotfix is applied and check to make sure initial balances have been corrected.  You can verify the initial balance amounts by running the Cash Summary report.  

• Permission problems related to the Account Receivables module.  We have updated the USAS_RO role to exclude permissions to the Accounts Receivable menu options.  Prior to this fix a USAS_RO user would have read only access to the Accounts Receivable menu if the module were installed.  This fix also prevents users that do not have AR related permissions or roles from attempting to modify or delete USAS transactions that were generated as a result of AR transactions.  For example, deleting or reversing a receipt that was generated based on an AR payment.  Users that have USAS permissions but not AR permissions will not be able to modify AR related transactions.
