USAS-R v8.0.3 Release Notes

Summary

This is the third hotfix release for version 8.0.0.  This hotfix includes the following bug fixes:

• A problem with the budget histories that was caused by changes to the account summaries with the 8.0.0 release.  This bug impacted the Classic Carryover Reconciliation Report due to do unnecessary carryover adjustments that were posted as a result of the previous changes.  All transactions and data are in the database.  The budget histories were created incorrectly due to a timing issue, which caused the carryovers to be created incorrectly and resulted in additional carryover adjustments being posted.    

  • If you imported a district into a production instance on or after 8/4/20 (using release version 8.0.0, 8.0.1 or 8.0.2) and have not yet contacted SSDT, please email becher@ssdt-ohio.org.  There may be additional steps we'll need to take to correct the data stored on the histories.  We will be making these corrections via a patch that will run for each impacted district specifically.

  • If you have run test imports on or after 8/4/20, you will want to re import that data once this hotfix has been applied.

  • If a district closed fiscal year 2020 (posting period June 2020) on or after 8/4/20, they will need to check to make sure their carryover amounts are correct.  If they are not, they'll need to reopen June so it can be closed again to allow the histories to be corrected.
