Summary

This is the first hotfix release for version 7.3.0 that corrects three different problems.

  1. The address fields were incorrectly being required when posting insurance and retirement into USAS-R.

  2. The 2 name fields for the payee were incorrectly being concatenated into one line on the printed check.

  3. In some random cases there was a race condition at import time that caused the expended and received amounts to be inaccurate.  This was reported by a non-first wave district.  To our knowledge this bug does not impact any first wave districts.  If your expended and received amounts on your Classic FINSUMM matched those on the Cash Summary report when you imported, you are not impacted by this problem.

All of these problems have been corrected with this hotfix.

Important Note

The disbursements being posted as a result of the payroll process will not contain the payee names in separate fields until the next USPSR release. Specifically the disbursements you post for the retirement and insurance portions of the payroll.

A hotfix or quick-fix is typically a single change that addresses a problem in the software.  Hotfixes are made to address a specific concern and provide a quick solution.

Please keep in mind these release notes only reflect the changes included in this release. There are many other features of the software that were previously released that will not be reflected in these release notes. General information about all of the features available in USAS-R can be found in our USAS Documentation. There is a section in the documentation that also details the significant changes between USAS-R and classic USAS.
