Summary
This is the first hotfix release for version 7.10. This hotfix corrects the following:
A performance problem caused by account filters.  The work around was to temporarily remove account filters. Those should now be added back to user accounts if they were previously removed. One important note with regard to creating or updating account filters, this process will now take longer as we have moved the work that was causing the slowness to be done when the account filter is saved.
Account filters weren't being applied to reports based on the Appropriation Account and Budget objects. Â
The ability to share reports with specified roles.
The Financial Detail Report was incorrectly modified when attempting to include default values for the date user parameters. The erroneous changes have been reverted.
The invoice rule we implemented in the 7.10.0 release that required partial invoice items to be dated before full invoice items for a specific po charge was on during importing which caused import errors and prevented invoices and disbursements from being imported when the rule was violated. We have turned that rule off during import so we can ensure that data is successfully imported. We've also created a new rule to run during import that will log those invoices as a warning: "suspicious transactions" in the import log results file to possibly aid with balancing issues that may arise due to the state of the data. The import log results file is available from the System/Monitor Admin Logs.
The usas import log file was inadvertently modify to reduce the import logging details.
A hotfix or quick-fix is typically a single change that addresses a problem in the software.  Hotfixes are made to address a specific concern and provide a quick solution.
Please keep in mind these release notes only reflect the changes included in this release. There are many other features of the software that were previously released that will not be reflected in these release notes. General information about all of the features available in USAS-R can be found in our USAS Documentation. There is a section in the documentation that also details the significant changes between USAS-R and classic USAS.Â
Known Issues
To improve account filter performance in the interface and with reports, the time it takes to save account filters is now being impacted. We will work to further improve this.
https://mcoecn.atlassian.net/browse/USASR-3343 The Account Change option was removed from the menu. This Jira issue will correct those problems and return this option to the menu. This issue is currently scheduled for release 7.12.0.
