USAS-R v7.8.5-4 Release Notes

Summary

This is the fifth hotfix release for version 7.8.0.  This hotfix is to release changes necessary for the account sync operation in the upcoming payroll release.  We've also corrected a reference issue between Budget and Expenditure accounts and corrected a problem posting adjustments to gaap amounts via proposed amounts.

A hotfix or quick-fix is typically a single change that addresses a problem in the software.  Hotfixes are made to address a specific concern and provide a quick solution.

Please keep in mind these release notes only reflect the changes included in this release. There are many other features of the software that were previously released that will not be reflected in these release notes. General information about all of the features available in USAS-R can be found in our USAS Documentation. There is a section in the documentation that also details the significant changes between USAS-R and classic USAS. 

Known Issues

When applying proposed amounts, the UI appears that it will not update the gaap original estimates if you're posting Permanent or Temporary initials.  The checkbox to Update the GAAP Original Estimate amounts is unchecked and disabled.  However, intial amounts are being posted in both cases.  We have created Jira issue USASR-3342 to update this to appear correctly and allow the user to modify this flag when posting temporary amounts.
