USAS-R v7.6.3-2 Release Notes

Summary

This is the third hotfix release for version 7.6.0.  This hotfix corrects a problem with the initial balances.  The initial balances were not correctly displaying while June was still open.  When posting periods are closed, account summaries are created.  These summaries contain information that can be retrieved later and are used to help speed up the account data retrieval process.  When the periods have not yet been closed, the summaries don't exist.  The initial balance is pulled from the ending balance stored on the summary.  Since this had not been created it was incorrectly populating the initial balance.  This has been corrected.

A hotfix or quick-fix is typically a single change that addresses a problem in the software.  Hotfixes are made to address a specific concern and provide a quick solution.

Please keep in mind these release notes only reflect the changes included in this release. There are many other features of the software that were previously released that will not be reflected in these release notes.
